Alternating Current

Alternating Current
Electric generators or Dynamo produce current which do not flow in. the same direction. The direction of the current is reversed several times per second just like the motion of a simple pendulum which moves in one direction for half a period and iii the opposite direction for the second half of the period. A current which alternates or reverses in direction several times per second is called an Alternating current and is abbreviated as A.C.
