Method of data on disk. Data is recorded in concentric circle called tracks each track is further divided into sectors. Sectors
are wedges-shaped sections used for easy reference of storage. If a floppy disk has ‘n’ tracks then the outermost track is
numbered zero. And innermost track is numbered zero. And the innermost track would be 39 for a 40 track disk.
