Construction and Working of Stop Watch
It is a special type of watch which is used to measure specific time interval for an event. It consists of two hands. A small minute hand and a long second’s hand.

Working

To begin with both the hands are set at zero by pressing and releasing the knob. As the knob is pressed and released again the watch starts. When the second’s hand completes one rotation of sixty seconds, the minute hand advance by one division. To stop the watch the knob is again pressed and released, both the hands stop indicating the interval of time for which the watch has been running.
