Diffusion of Liquids

Diffusion of Liquids
We take water in a beaker and place a drop of Copper Sulphate solution at the bottom with the help of a pipette. As the solution is heavier should have remained at the bottom of the beaker. But it is observed that the solution spreads to all parts of the water in a few hours and the whole water is coloured. The spreading of the solution is caused due to molecular motion of the molecules. This is called “Diffusion of Liquids”.
