Kinetic Friction or Sliding Friction
If we go on increasing the force F, the object will eventually move. At the stage when the object is moving, the force fs is maximum. When ‘F’ exceeds (fs) max- the block moves with acceleration. At the stage when the block is in motion, the corresponding frictional force is denoted by fk becomes less than (fs) max. The frictional force fk is called thc Force of Kinetic Friction or Sliding Friction.
