My Dear Father,

I hope you are fine. I am also fine here. I would like to inform you that my exams have just ended and you will be glad to know that I have done all the papers to my satisfaction. I hope to get good marks. For the last few months I have been finding it difficult to meet my expenses out of the amount you send me very month. After paying my tuition fee and hostel dues, I am left hardly with any money. I have to cut down my expenses on necessary things. I have borne this hardship, but now I feel that I can bear it no longer. I, therefore, request an increase of Rs.200 in my monthly allowance.

Pay regards to Mother and love to youngsters. Please try to respond as soon as possible.
