My dear father,

I am in receipt of your kind letter and have to inform you that my examination is still two months ahead. This year I have earnestly worked hard. I have completed my course and have revised it four times. I have also revised the mathematics six times and hope to make revision of the course once or twice more.

I am sure, father, I will do very well at the examination and need only your blessings.
