Quaid-i-Azam Muhammad Mi Jinnah is my favorite national hero. We call him Quaid-i-Azam and it means “Great Leader”. He was a dynamic personality. He was the founder of Pakistan. He was born at Karachi on 25th December, 1876. He received his early education in Karachi and also passed his matriculation examination from Sindh Madrassah at the age of sixteen. He then went to England for higher studies. On his return to India he started his practice as a lawyer first in Karachi and then in Bombay. He wanted to see India free. He, therefore, joined the Indian National Congress. But he soon left it and joined the Muslim League to champion the cause of the Muslims.
He was a very sick man during those few years before 1947, his doctor’s advised him to take rest, but he refused to take his doctor’s advice. He would always soy, “I have work to do.” The Quaid said that India must be two nations, not one.
