Short Story on "It is Difficult to Please Everybody"
Once there were an old man and his son is a village. They had a donkey.
One day they started for the market to sell it.
As they started for the market, the boy rode the donkey. The old man walked happily by its side. A woman saw them and cried, “See the boy is very selfish. He is sitting on the donkey while his old father is walking.” The boy got off the donkey, and the father rode it. Soon a man saw them and said, “See the selfish man is riding the donkey, the little boy is walking.
The old man got off and both he and the boy started walking. Soon a person saw them and said, “See how foolish this old man and his son are. They have a donkey and do not ride it”.educationsight.blogspot.com Now both the man and his son rode the donkey. Just then, a girl saw them and said, “See how foolish this old man and his son are to the donkey. They both are riding it.”
The old man told his son, “Now do not listen to anyone. It is difficult to please everybody. Let us do whatever we like.”
