Short Story on "Look before you Ieap"
In the outskirts of a village there was a deep well, The villagers used to draw water for irrigation from the well. For this purpose they had installed a pulley in the centre with a rope tying on it, will one bucket tied to each end of the rope. Due to this arrangement, while one bucket was pulled up the other one used to go down.
One day a fox was thirsty. She jumped into one of the buckets and her weight scat the bucket down.educationsight.blogspot.com She drank water front the well and was thinking of a plan to go up. She saw a goat peeping into the well, The fox said. ‘if’ our are thirsty, sit down in the bucket near you” The goat did like wise and she went down the well, while the fox went up. When she reached the edge she got out of the bucket. The silly goat remained in the well till she died of hunger.
