Asking him to Work hard to pass the examination with high marks

My Dear,
I am in receipt of your school report. I am pained to read that you are not doing well in your studies. In English and Social Studies you have got barely pass marks. In Urdu also you have not fared well. I am really greatly dissatisfied with the report. I wonder whether you are caring that your annual examinations are at hand.
I learn from your report that you have done well in games. Maybe, your whole attention towards games is responsible for your poor results. Games are quite good, but at all the cost of studies. Too much of games is as bad as too much of studies. Remember the old saying ‘excess of everything is bad’. By playing too much and not reading at all, as Quaid-e-Azam, “you feed the body and starve the soul.”
Do not neglect your studies, now that your annual examinations are near. For the rest two months you should devote your full attention to the studies and pass the examination with credit. It is no use passing third division.
I shall be anxiously waiting for seeing improvement in your studies in your next monthly test.
Love from mother.
Yours affectionately,
XYZ
