Acceleration and its Examples

Q. Define the Acceleration and give examples also:

Acceleration
The rate of change of Velocity is called Acceleration. It is numerically equal to change brought about in unit time. The change may be in magnitude direction or both of a body.
Examples:
1) The falling body whose velocity increases every moment is said to have acceleration.
2 A body moving with uniform speed in a circle possesses acceleration due to change of direction.
