Difference Between Average Speed and Average Velocity
if the speed of a body is obtained by dividing the total distinct covered by the time taken, then the Speed is called Average Speed. The Average Velocity of a body is obtained by dividing total displacement by the time taken.
Average Speed = Total Distance Covered / Time
Average Velocity = Total Displacement / Time
