Factors on Which the Weight of Body Depends:
Weight of a body depends upon the following factors:
1) Mass of the body
2) Value of ‘g’ . According to the equation w = mg, the weight of a body is directly proportional to mass of the body and the value of If we increase the mass, the weight will also increase. Moreover we know that ‘g’ varies with the geographical location, so weight also varies according to variation of altitude.
