Q. State PASCAL’S LAW and give two examples from daily life regarding its application.

Pascal Law
Liquids transmit pressure equally in all directions. This is called PASCAL’S LAW.

Uses of Pascal’s Law
i) The property of liquid stated in Pascal’s Law is used in Hydraulic Press. Hydraulic Press is unfixed for the purpose of decreasing the volume of cotton or cloth bales.
ii) Hydraulic brakes in cars and other vehicles are used where the pressure from the denser oil is transmitted to wheels through discs.
