Q What branch of Physics do we mean by electronics?

Electronics

It is the most glamorous branch of physics. Electronics is the branch of physics that deals with the behavior of electrons in vacuum, in crystals, in gases and liquids.

Electronics has influenced almost every aspect of human life.

1. Entertainment devices like Radio, T.V, V.C.R, Video games.

2. Satellite controlling devices, computers, fax machines, telephone.

3. Astronomy has always stirred the human imagination, electronics has provided astronomy with radio telescopes.

4. Electronics plays an important role in meteorology. For example free electrons speed towards the earth from sun when a solar flare occurs when these speeding electrons strike the air molecules in the upper atmosphere light is produced.

5. We are also familiar with short-wave radio reception. Radio reception is possible because of the free electrons in the upper atmosphere.

6. X-rays are used to photograph internal parts of the human body for defects. X-rays are produced by high velocity electrons striking the anode in an X-ray tube. Electronics is related to all the physical sciences.

In fact none of the physical sciences would be as far advanced as it is today if it were not for the availability of electronic instruments and equipment.
