Define Speed, Variable Speed, Average Speed, Uniform Speed, and Instantaneous Speed.
Speed
The distance covered by a body in unit time in any direction is called Speed.
Variable Speed
If a body is moving in such a way that it does not cover equal distances in same intervals of time then t is said to have Variable Speed.
Average Speed
If the speed of the body is obtained by dividing the total distance by the time be taken, then the speed is said to be Average Speed. Average Speed is symbolically presented by V. if a body covers a distance ‘S’ in time ‘t’, then its average speed V is given by the equation V = s/t
Uniform Speed
if a moving body covers equal distances in equal intervals of time however small in any direction, then its speed is called Uniform Speed.
Instantaneous Speed
Distance covered by a body in a short interval of time in any direction is called Instantaneous Speed.
Speed
The distance covered by a body in unit time in any direction is called Speed.
Variable Speed
If a body is moving in such a way that it does not cover equal distances in same intervals of time then t is said to have Variable Speed.
Average Speed

Uniform Speed
if a moving body covers equal distances in equal intervals of time however small in any direction, then its speed is called Uniform Speed.
Instantaneous Speed
Distance covered by a body in a short interval of time in any direction is called Instantaneous Speed.
