Dear Sir,

I beg to draw your attention to the insanitary condition of Block V of Azizabad. Heaps of filth and refuse keep lying here and there. These are not removed for days together. The drains are seldom washed. A foul smell always fills the air. Both the drains and heaps of filth make a good breeding place for mosquitoes and flies.

To make matters worse, some cows and buffaloes are tethered in the street. Not only that they obstruct traffic, hut also add to the filth by their dung and fodder refuse.

If this stage of thing is allowed to go on, some epidemic would soon break out. So I request you to take up the matter in hand immediately. Should you take the trouble of paying a surprise visit to the place, you would see the true state of things.
