Once a lion fell ill. All the animals called on him to express their regret on his indisposition and to wish him an early recoupment, but the fox did not pay the visit. The wolf, who abhorred the fox for her cunningness, vent to the lion and said to him, “Your majesty ! I was so much pained that instead of coming to offer my regret, I set out to find the remedy to cure you and it was with much difficulties that, at last, I found it.” The Hon asked her, “Hurty up! tell Inc the remedy.” The fox said, “If you eat the liver of a wolf, you will be cured at once.” Hearing this the loin gave the wolf a strong blow that killed him instantly and tearing him up ate his liver.
