It pains me to write to you that I am not in a position to repay you the amount I borrowed from you on 2nd instant as I have to deposit my university dues and examination fee by 25th of the instant. I regret for not timely repayment of your lawn. I have written father to send me the required money and I shall repay you as soon as ills received. I once again regret for the default.
