Sir,

Most respectfully I beg to submit that the student’s Union wishes to stage a play for the benefit of poor students in the college Hall. This piay is quite social and points out some of the evils of our society.

All the income of the show will be spent on the uplift of the poor students. We are also inviting some guests. I hope we shall be able to collect good donations from some of the special guests who will attend the show.

I, therefore, request you to grant us the permission to stage this play.
